Ultra 1.8 ABS pedestal
The new Ultra 1.8 ABS self-contained AM EAS system offers retailers an affordable and reliable anti-theft solution. The pedestal’s sleek open frame blends seamlessly into any retail setting while providing a visual deterrent against theft and delivering superior pick rates in all environments, even noisy ones.
The on-board electronics are contained within the base cover of the primary pedestal, eliminating the need for an external controller and reducing installation and maintenance costs. The coverage area is 0.9m (3 ft) for a single door and 1.8m (6 ft) for double doors. The integrated alarm located in the base of the primary pedestal uses a distinguished audible alarm to notify store personnel if protected merchandise passes through the detection zone and also illuminates red for visual notification.
Through system configuration, “Tags-too- Close” is an offered feature developed to help store associates better manage merchandising of tagged goods at the front of the store. This feature helps reduce unnecessary and costly service calls and decreases nuisance alarms to enhance the shopper experience.

Ultrapost self contained
The energy-efficient Ultra•Post provides superior Sensormatic AM EAS antitheft protection with up to 1.8m (6ft) of coverage between pedestals. The onboard electronics are contained within the base cover of the primary pedestal, eliminating the need for an external controller, and reducing installation and maintenance costs. The integrated audio and visual alarms notify store personnel if protected merchandise passes through the detection zone. The optional integrated Traffic Counter add-on device provides visibility into shopper traffic patterns and directional traffic information that is customizable to control alarm events.

Ultra 1.8 Acrylic
The Essentials 1.8m Acrylic Pedestal combines simplicity with reliable performance to deliver an affordable, attractive anti-shoplifting solution. Constructed from high-grade, durable acrylic, this pedestal provides a transparent, sophisticated look at store entrances. The on-board electronics are contained within the base cover of the primary pedestal, eliminating the need for an external controller, and reducing installation and maintenance costs. To support green initiatives, this system uses less than 50W of energy per hour to help lower energy costs while supplying EAS protection for wider exits up to 3.6m (11.81ft). The integrated alarm located in the base of the primary pedestal uses a distinguished audible alarm to notify store personnel if protected merchandise passes through the detection zone. Each pedestal also fully illuminates with a blue (standard) or red (optional) illumination scheme for visual notification and deterrence during an alarm event.

Ultralane
The Ultra•Lane Pedestal — specifically developed for grocery store checkout aisles or narrow doorways — features Sensormatic AM EAS technology to provide up to 1.8m (5ft 10in) of protection between pedestals. Each pedestal is equipped with integrated visual and audible alarms to notify store associates if protected merchandise passes through the detection zone. Multiple install options include installation to either side of a checkout counter, a railing post, or directly on to the door frame. Utilizing a Sensormatic Ranger Receivers, this system can also be mounted to the side of an opposing counter.
An optional system-configured feature is Jammer Detection. This software triggers a pedestal alarm as soon as an electronic signal from a Jammer device is detected; helping eliminate the threat of would-be thieves using this method.
